Hiiii all!
It’s been a minute and I hope all are well! I am still overwhelmed by all your interest in some of my thoughts on ways to improve San Francisco public schools! Well, this post is some personal news.
I am running for a position on the San Francisco Democratic County Central Committee (DCCC) this March 2024 elections! The position is one of 24 total seats up for elections, 14 total on the East side (Matt Haney’s Assembly district), 10 total on the West side (Phil Ting’s Assembly district).
What does DCCC have to do with public schools and good governance? A heck of a lot. The San Francisco Democratic Party was against recalls. The San Francisco Democratic Party endorsed Alison Collins in 2018. We can’t have that kind of tinned eared ideological thinkers on our San Francisco Democratic Party. These seats are only up every four years. Let’s make a big change from the past!
I have a campaign launch event this coming Tuesday evening, and I would love if all of you could stop by.
